Back in 2002, from an idea of ours and the municipality of Entracque, the Funs via ferrata was created; the Alpine Guides of the then “Alpi Marittime” school were its promoters and builders.
The “Alpi Marittime” school came to an end in 2004, giving way to the “Guide Alpine Cuneo” school, which continues to combine traditional guiding activities with the design and construction of via ferratas and adventure parks. The via ferratas of Magliolo and Camoglieres were developed, along with the adventure parks in Limone, Borgo San Dalmazzo, Frabosa Sottana, Ostana, and Valdieri.
“globalmountain s.a.s.” was established in autumn 2014 to meet the growing demand in this field and brings together the same partners as the school.

The purpose of the company is to carry out highly specialized work in rope access and mountain safety, and to provide support to professionals during the design phase.
By making the best use of the skills and expertise of its partners, we can say that we are specialized in the following fields:
Some of our members are certified blasters, allowing us to carry out work involving the use of explosives (subject to the issuance of the necessary permits).
We are also certified as avalanche safety officers (AINEVA 2D) for the use of the “Daisy Bell” and “Gas-Ex” systems.
