Terms and Conditions
1. Booking Globalmountain.it activities available “online”
Bookings for activities available through the e-commerce feature can be made using the online procedure by filling in your personal details (according to the regulations indicated in the Privacy Policy) and accepting the terms and conditions listed on this page during the checkout process.
You can book the activity for multiple individuals at once; once the purchase is complete, an email will be sent containing a link to enter the details of the other participants.
After completing the first part of the procedure and submitting the order, advance payment of the full amount will be required through three possible methods:
- Satispay
- Credit Card
- Bank Transfer
Successful payment made via the first two options guarantees immediate booking for the activity. If you decide to use the bank transfer option, the booking will only be confirmed if we receive the transfer within two business days from the order date. If we do not receive the transfer within this period, the booking will be automatically canceled and the available spot will be put back on sale.
2. Payment methods via Bank Transfer
- ACCOUNT HOLDER: Scuola Italiana di Alpinismo, Scialpinismo e Arrampicata Guide Alpine Cuneo

3. Booking Globalmountain.it activities not available “online”
Bookings must be made by phone at +393356726008 or via email at promotion@globalmountain.it by providing:
- first and last names of participants
- phone number, residential address, tax code
- technical level
- chosen date and program
- authorization for minors
After making arrangements with the PROMOTION OFFICE (by phone or email), a deposit equal to 30% of the quote must be paid (via bank transfer or debit/credit card directly at our operational headquarters). The quote for the Mountain Guide’s professional fee is valid for six months from the date at the top of the quote itself.
4. Minimum number of participants
Group activities have a minimum number of participants to be confirmed. This minimum number is stated on the page dedicated to the activity. If the minimum number of participants is not reached, the activity may be canceled or you will be given the option to:
- pay a supplement to have a private Mountain Guide
- move the booking to another date
If none of these options are feasible, paying participants will be refunded the fee according to the methods listed in the Refunds section.
5. Program changes
Changes to the outings or their program may be made by the responsible Mountain Guide (as established in the “Role of the Mountain Guide” section) or due to force majeure. For organizational reasons, ad-hoc changes cannot be made for the personal needs of individuals.
6. Minimum required equipment
To carry out the booked activity, you must have the minimum required equipment listed and detailed on the activity page itself. We reserve the right to provide the necessary equipment for the activity subject to availability in our warehouse or if expressly agreed with the Mountain Guide in charge of the outing.
7. Role of the Mountain Guide
The work of a Mountain Guide is a commercial activity in all respects which, as such, involves an engagement from both parties (guide and client) to ensure high quality of the service purchased. The Mountain Guide is solely responsible for carrying out the program and may, for various reasons (weather conditions, mountain conditions, physical condition of individual group members, safety, etc.), modify the course of the trip during the outing itself. It will always be the Mountain Guide’s task to propose alternative dates or destinations to the main one.
8. Cancellations
Voluntary cancellation of a booking can be done by contacting our office at promotion@globalmoutain.it specifying your first name, last name, and the activity you were registered for. If you purchase an activity 60 days in advance of the first outing, you have 48 hours after purchase to cancel and you will receive a refund net of a 3% administration and management fee.
Beyond this period, if you decide to cancel your booking, you will be able to do so with the following penalties:
- 75% refund if the booking is canceled within 30 days of the start of the course/activity.
- 50% refund if the booking is canceled between 30 and 8 days before the start of the course/activity.
- 0% refund if the booking is canceled within 7 days before the start of the course/activity.
Refund methods are listed in the Refunds section.
In case of cancellation due to a change in program or because the minimum number of participants was not reached, the Scuola di Alpinismo, Scialpinismo e Arrampicata Guide Alpine Cuneo will automatically issue a refund at no cost.
9. Refunds
The methods are:
- Direct remittance via bank transfer
- Credit Card
- Satispay

Should it be impossible to use the purchased activity, the Scuola di Alpinismo, SciAlpinismo e Arrampicata Guide Alpine Cuneo allows the transfer of the booking to a third person (who meets any required conditions), provided notice is given at least 4 days before the activity start date.
