A new and spectacular equipped route, created in 2026 by Globalmountain Alpine Guides in the municipality of Ostana (one of Italy’s Most Beautiful Villages). Located right at the foot of Monviso, the ferrata offers a unique vertical experience with imposing and breathtaking views of the “Stone King,” combining physical sections for experts with fun and purely adrenaline-filled modules.

The route was designed in two distinct sections to ensure accessibility, fun, and technical challenge.

1. First Part (Challenging and Spectacular – Avoidable)
Dedicated to those looking for athletic movement and pure verticality. It climbs the imposing rock pillar of the Duomo di Rocciarè through vertical walls, physical passages, and overhangs on excellent rock.
Note: Those who wish to avoid this challenging part can use the convenient bypass path to directly access the second sector.

2. Second Part (Playful, Fun, and Adrenaline-filled)
Suitable for all adventurers, it is a real aerial and panoramic suspended “playground”:

  • 2 Tyroliennes (Zip-lines): Including a spectacular and very long tyrolienne of 160 meters, for an injection of pure adrenaline with the void beneath your feet.
  • 2 Tibetan Bridges: Aerial cable passages that deliver great emotion and exposure.
  • 1 Suspended Vertical Net: A distinctive element for a fun and unconventional climb.

Program

  • Approach: Leaving the car at the dedicated parking lots in Borgata Ciampetti / Fraz. Bernardi (1,180 m), follow a convenient marked path to reach the start of the wall in about 15 minutes.

  • Full "Difficult" Ascent: Complete route including rock, traverses, bridges, and zip-lines (3h 30m)

  • "Easy" Ascent: Via a path, you bypass the "Duomo di Rocciarè" and start where the first and very long tyrolienne begins.
  • Return: From the summit of Bric Sarlichart (1,480 m), a convenient and marked descent path leads back to the starting village in about 30 minutes.

  • technical level
  • chosen date and program

4. Minimum number of participants

Group activities have a minimum number of participants to be confirmed. This minimum number is stated on the page dedicated to the activity. If the minimum number of participants is not reached, the activity may be canceled or you will be given the option to:

  • pay a supplement to have a private Mountain Guide
  • move the booking to another date

If none of these options are feasible, paying participants will be refunded the fee according to the methods listed in the Refunds section.

5. Program changes

Changes to the outings or their program may be made by the responsible Mountain Guide (as established in the “Role of the Mountain Guide” section) or due to force majeure. For organizational reasons, ad-hoc changes cannot be made for the personal needs of individuals.

6. Minimum required equipment

To carry out the booked activity, you must have the minimum required equipment listed and detailed on the activity page itself. We reserve the right to provide the necessary equipment for the activity subject to availability in our warehouse or if expressly agreed with the Mountain Guide in charge of the outing.

7. Role of the Mountain Guide

The work of a Mountain Guide is a commercial activity in all respects which, as such, involves an engagement from both parties (guide and client) to ensure high quality of the service purchased. The Mountain Guide is solely responsible for carrying out the program and may, for various reasons (weather conditions, mountain conditions, physical condition of individual group members, safety, etc.), modify the course of the trip during the outing itself. It will always be the Mountain Guide's task to propose alternative dates or destinations to the main one.

8. Cancellations

Voluntary cancellation of a booking can be made by contacting our office at promotion@globalmountain.it and providing your first name, last name, and the activity you were registered for.

In case of booking cancellation, the following penalties and deductions will apply:

  • 75% refund for cancellations made more than 30 days in advance of the course/activity start date.
  • 50% refund for cancellations made between 30 and 15 days before the course/activity start date.
  • No refund (0%) for cancellations made within the 15 days preceding the course/activity start date.

Gift Vouchers and Coupons: Purchases made via Gift Voucher / Gift Card or vouchers issued for any reason are not refundable in cash or convertible to money under any circumstances, except for the legal right of withdrawal within 14 days of online purchase reserved for the voucher purchaser.

  • User cancellation: In case of voluntary cancellation of a booking made via Gift Voucher, any refund (calculated net of the penalties indicated above) will be re-credited exclusively in the form of credit/voucher of equal value, to be used by the original expiration date of the voucher itself.
  • Cancellation by the organization: If an activity booked with a Gift Voucher is cancelled by the School due to weather conditions, failure to reach the minimum number of participants, or force majeure, the voucher amount will be fully recovered through rescheduling or by re-crediting the voucher credit to the user profile.

Standard refund methods are listed in the Refunds section.

In case of cancellation due to a change in program or because the minimum number of participants was not reached, the Alpine Climbing, Ski Mountaineering, and Climbing Alpine Guide School in Cuneo will automatically issue a refund (or re-credit the voucher) at no cost.

9. Refunds

The methods are:

  • Direct remittance via bank transfer
  • Credit Card
  • Satispay
  • Voucher/Gift Card spendable on other activities for sale on the globalmountain.it website

10. Transfer of booking to third parties

Should it be impossible to use the purchased activity, the Scuola di Alpinismo, SciAlpinismo e Arrampicata Guide Alpine Cuneo allows the transfer of the booking to a third person (who meets any required conditions), provided notice is given at least 4 days before the activity start date.
