La Grave-La Meije, a resort dedicated to off-piste skiing; an old cable car that with a 1,800 m jump leads to the Girose glacier crossed by 2 small ski lifts that provide access to thrilling descents of over 2,000 m vertical drop. Terrain where good-level skiers who love big mountain environments and technical skiing will be fully satisfied. Here you ski all the time, from larch forests during snowfall to the open slopes of the main valleys and glacier on clear days. For more experienced skiers we also offer the most famous couloirs (Banane, Vute, Trifides, Pan du Rideau and many others) and itineraries where you put on skins to move away from the more popular descents. Don’t miss the descent to San Christophe en Oisans with return via the Les Deux Alpes lifts; it’s a day with a total of over 4,000 m vertical drop on terrain with slopes up to 40° in a wild and unique environment, a real gem reserved for good skiers.

Program

Day trips from Borgo San Dalmazzo (or meeting point along the route depending on the group's location) to La Grave. Packed lunch or at one of the resort's restaurants. The program is defined each time based on the group's technical level and snow and weather conditions. Given the number of itineraries, the location is perfect for multi-day freeride sessions. Base at Hotel Castillan and don't miss dinner at the "Au Vieux Guide" restaurant. Contact us to create a custom program.
