Finale Ligure is considered by many to be the capital of outdoor climbing. With over 150 crags, ranging from the easiest for beginners to historically significant “spots,” it offers countless possibilities for all climbers. The heart of Finale’s outdoor scene is definitely Finalborgo where, walking through medieval alleys and small squares, you’ll feel a relaxed atmosphere from the very first moment. The rock faces, a destination for climbers, often rise isolated in the wild hinterland of Finale, scattered among the dense vegetation that characterizes the area. The rock of the Finale area, called “Pietra di Finale,” is unique and requires very technical, mostly “fingery” climbing. Thanks to the various options for grades, exposure, and approach, climbing here is an unforgettable experience suitable for everyone, even those who want to try the beautiful multi-pitch routes that the Finale hinterland offers.

Program

Day trip departure from Cuneo at the Global Mountain Alpine Guides Office. After a quick equipment check, we'll transfer by car to Finale Ligure (it's also possible to meet directly on-site). Once there, we'll head to the crag chosen based on your needs and skill level. You can climb single pitches or multi-pitch routes, with plenty of options for both beginners and experts. Return to Cuneo in the evening or stay near Finale for a few days.
